           Avery Grundmeyer, the proud owner of Just Eat Me Sweets, embarked on this sweet journey at the age of 17 while she was in High School. Avery discovered a passion for baking pastries – or as Avery likes to put it, found a hidden ‘JEM’! When Avery started baking cookies in high school, she would always come to school with enthusiasm toward her passion for baking. Avery received a lot of doubt that she couldn’t do it. This experience fueled her even more, motivating her to turn her hobby into a professional career. Avery was even more determined to pursue this journey.​       

The pursuit of culinary calling led Avery to New York City, where her skills sharpened at the renowned Institute of Culinary Education. Under the guidance of accomplished chefs and skilled professionals, Avery delved deeper into the artistry of pastry making. Her life experience has created a masterpiece in the kitchen where she’s not afraid to make a mess, sugarcoat things, or get her hands dirty. This experience has created a playful pout menu and vibrant store ambiance.​     

With the opening of Just Eat Me Sweets, Avery aims to inspire people of all ages, demonstrating that dreams can become a reality with consistent effort and dedication. “Every decision at the bakery has one goal in mind – to bring a smile to the customer’s face.” Avery views customers as friends, cherishing each order and expressing gratitude to her supportive customers. Their support drives Avery daily, turning dreams into a delicious reality! Avery’s journey is a testament to perseverance and a love for the craft. With gratitude for those who stood by throughout her journey, it’s time to roll up and get baking because everyone deserves a sweet treat.
